What should I do for 10 days in Uganda?

Uganda is a beautiful country in East Africa with a diverse range of attractions and activities to offer. If you have 10 days to spend in Uganda, here’s a suggested itinerary to make the most of your time.


Day 1: Entebbe

  • Arrive in Entebbe, the gateway city to Uganda.
  • Visit the Entebbe Botanical Garden to enjoy a relaxing walk amidst lush greenery and various plant species.
  • Explore the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre, where you can see native wildlife up close and learn about conservation efforts.


Day 2-4: Kampala

  • Drive to Kampala, Uganda’s vibrant capital city.
  • Take a city tour to visit historical sites like the Kasubi Tombs and the Uganda National Museum.

Day 5-6: Jinja and the Source of the Nile

Day 7-8: Murchison Falls National Park

  • Take a boat safari on the Victoria Nile to the base of the Murchison Falls, a spectacular sight.

Day 9-10: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

  • Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.

  • Alternatively, you can opt for a guided nature walk to discover the beautiful forest and its unique flora and fauna.
