Brief information about the tour

This 3-day Masai mara wildlife safari package takes you to the southwestern part of Kenya on the ridges of the Great Rift Valley situated in Narok County. The destination is famous for the seasonal wildebeest migration during July, August, and September as the wildlife crosses the Mara River. Some of the wildlife you are to spot on your 3-day Masai mara safari include the elands, gazelles, elephants, buffalos, zebras, giraffes, and many more.

Day By Day Tour Summary

Day 1: Transfer to Masai Mara and an afternoon game drive

After your morning breakfast, you will meet up with a professional tour guide from monumental expeditions who will simply brief you about your safari and kick off your journey westwards of Nairobi, having a stopover at the fascinating view of the Great Rift Valley.

You will then proceed with the drive and then have another stop over at Narok town for your en-route lunch and hereafter continue to your lodge for check-in. after the check-in, we are to go for the evening game drive, expecting to see plenty of wildlife species that reside in the Masai mara Reserve, including the wildebeest, giraffes, topis, lions, rhinos, and many more.

After the game drive, you will head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: A full-day game drive plus a cultural encounter

On the second day of your safari, you have the best breakfast and then go in for the morning game drive at around 8 am hitting the different drive trails of the reserve with your eyes curiously open to have a look at the zebras, lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, buffalos, rhinos, and plenty of antelopes on a lucky day.

The game drive will continuously take you down to the Mara River for plenty of wildlife, then have your lunch under the shed of a tree in the middle of the wilderness and then proceed back to the lodge for refreshment as you prepare for the cultural encounter.

The cultural encounter will give you a chance to explore the Masai village, a homestead of the indigenous residents of Mara Land, looking at the tall men and bright beaded earrings of women proud of their culture. You are to have a chance to interact with them and get to know more about their culture as they entertain you with their cultural songs and dances.

Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 3: Departure

Day 3 is the day as per your itinerary, and you will start it with your delicious breakfast as you prepare for the ride back to Nairobi, taking you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
