3 Day Bwindi Gorillas Safari
Overview
This 3 day Bwindi gorilla safari package is among the short safari packages at monumental expeditions giving you a serious chill out with half the world’s mountain gorillas situated in the impenetrable forest of Bwindi national park found at the southwestern edge of Uganda famously known as the pearl of Africa. The park is covering an area distance of 321km2 at an attitude of 260meters above the sea level, hosting 400 plant species, 350 bird species and 120 mammals.

Day 1: transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
The alpha day of your safari package is started up by meeting up with a professional tour guide from monumental tours and expeditions at either your hotel or at the airport. After a chilled pre tour briefing you will then start up the engine and drive to the southwestern region of the pearl of Africa along kampala – masaka – Mbarara road enjoying the magnificent view that nature offers.
Having several stopovers for photography and lunch, you will then proceed to Bwindi impenetrable national park checking in at your lodge, relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: gorilla trekking and an evening cultural encounter
Leaving the lodge very early in the morning with well packed breakfast and lunch, you will head to the park headquarters for the briefing before the start of the gorilla adventure. Here you will be entertained by the local songs and dances, after wards you be feed with the trekking guideline and then assigned to the different gorilla families.
In groups of eight tourists and several ranger guides, you will head into the evergreen jungle looking for the great apes and once located, you will have a precious hour with these magnificent primates watching them feed as the young ones play around with you giving spectacular photographs and memories.
After a successful trek, you will head back to your lodge for refreshment as you get ready for the cultural encounter. Heading back into the forest, you will meet up with the batwa who are the local residents of this forest. You will interact with them getting to know there different hunting skills, cultures and many more.

You will head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: departure
On the last day of your safari, you will start with a lousy breakfast watching the sun rise and then here after checkout the lodge heading back to kampala with a stopover for your en route lunch, you then proceed to the airport or hotel with plenty of sweet memories making the end of your 3-day gorilla adventure safari.
