Overview

This safari package takes you the earliest and largest national park in Uganda. the park is situated in the northern region of the pearl of Africa hosting over 76 mammal and 500 bird species that can be witnessed in the park’s savannah grassland, woodlands and the tropical rain forest that safe guard the primates within the park and these include the chimpanzees, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys and the blue monkeys.

Activity Highlights

Day 1: transfer to Murchison national park

On the alpha day of your safari you will meet up with a professional tour guide from monumental tours and expedition and after a pre-tour briefing you will start the engine heading to the formerly known as kabalega national park. Having an en route styled lunch, you then proceed to the park passing via the top of the fall where you will have a stopover for photography and then commence to your lodge for checking in, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: morning game drive and evening boat cruise

Starting your second day with an early morning breakfast, you will then hit the wild for a game drive where you will enjoy the fascinating scenes of the predators taking down there prey before they go into hiding as the sun rises. Some of the animals you are to see during the game drive include the elephants, lions, leopards, warthogs, buffalos, giraffes, and the plenty of antelopes.

After a magnificent game drive, you will head back to your lodge for lunch and refreshment as you get ready for the evening boat cruise. On the boat cruise you are to witness the large schools of hippos, elephants, buffalos, Nile crocodiles and the plenty of bird life head by the shoebill stock that reside around the water banks.

After the boat ride, dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 3: chimpanzee tracking and departure

Starting the day with an early morning breakfast that will be followed by heading to the park headquarters where you will be briefed before the start of the chimpanzee adventure. You will enter the tropical rainforest with several ranger guides in search of the chimpanzee and once allocated you will chill with them for a full hour taking pictures and videos of your like. After the chimpanzee tracking, you will head back to the lodge for refreshment and check out as you hit the road to head back home having your lunch en route, you then proceed to either the hotel or airport bringing your 3-day Murchison falls safari to an end.
