14 days Uganda is a land of fascinating wildlife and culture. A 14 days Uganda safari will let you experience both in all their glory. You’ll start in Entebbe, where you’ll visit Kibale National Park, home to chimpanzees, monkeys, and over 375 bird species.

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe international airport

You will be picked up by a professional tour guide from Entebbe international Airport and taken down to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay as you prepare for the genesis of wildlife and cultural adventure in Uganda the following day.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison falls national park

Following your morning breakfast will be the drive towards the northern region of the pearl of Africa, heading to the country’s biggest national park, famously known as Murchison Falls National Park. Have your lunch en route plus rhino tracking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary before heading to Murchison Falls National Park. After a successful rhino adventure, you will then proceed to your lodge check-in, dinner, and overnight stay

14 days Uganda WildlifeDay 3: game drive and evening Nile boat cruise

Have an early morning breakfast as you get ready for the game drive along the banks of the Nile and the broad savannahs of the area, expecting to see the plenty of wildlife species that reside here, including elephants, giraffes, buffalos, lions, leopards, warthogs, waterbucks and many more.

Get back to your lodge for lunch and then go for the boat adventure on the Nile You stand a chance to enjoy the plenty of bird life, followed by the hippos, crocodiles, and buffalos, plus the plenty of wildlife that comes to enjoy the fresh water and over night stay at your lodge.

Day 4: Transfer from Murchison falls national park to Kibale forest national park

Next to your morning breakfast, you will be checking out and riding along lake Albert and the escarpments of the rift valley, heading to the capital of primates (Kibale Forest National Park). You are to have a stop for lunch and then embark on your drive, enjoying the beautiful topography of the area and the several tea plantations as you arrive at Kibale forest national park in the evening.

14 days Uganda WildlifeDay 5: chimpanzee trekking and evening Bigodi swamp

Wake up very early in the morning and grab your breakfast, as after your guide will drive you to the park headquarters, which is the starting point of your chimpanzee adventure. You will be briefed and then enter the jungle with a number of rangers and trackers looking for man’s closest and after allocating the chimpanzees, you are to spend a full hour with these primates, taking pictures and videos of your desire.

Head back to your lodge for lunch and refreshments and hereafter you will visit the Bigodi wetland for another exclusive primate walk where you will be entertained by the several primate species and the plenty of bird life at this wetland.

14 days Uganda WildlifeDay 6: Transfer from Kibale forest to Queen Elizabeth national park

After early morning breakfast, you will drive past the crater lakes down to the main road heading to Queen Elizabeth national park you arrive, check in at your lodge and enjoy your lunch as you get prepared for the evening game drive, where you anticipate seeing the lions, leopards, warthogs, buffalos, and several antelopes.

14 days Uganda WildlifeDay 7: game drive and evening kazinga channel boat safari

That tasty morning breakfast will be followed by a game drive where you can stand a chance of watching the big cats hunt down their prey. Proceed down the different drive trails, where you can also spot elephants, buffalos, warthogs, antelopes, and several birds.

After lunch, your guide will drive you to the famous channel that connects lake Edward to lake George, locally known as the Kazinga Channel, for a boat cruise where you will spot the different wildlife, including elephants and buffaloes that draw close to enjoying the water, as well as the residentsthat include hippos, crocodiles and many bird species.

14 days Uganda WildlifeDay 8: Transfer from Queen Elizabeth national park to Bwindi impenetrable national park.

Drive through the Ishasha sector after your breakfast and check out, You will have an en-route-styled game drive heading to Bwindi impenetrable national park. Have your lunch en route as you proceed to the misty home of the great apes.

Upon arriving, you will check in your lodge as you relax, enjoy your dinner, and overnight stay, dreaming of the next gorilla adventure.

Day 9: Gorilla trekking and evening Batwa

Wake up early in the morning, have your breakfast and then head to the park headquarters for the pre-trekking briefing, where you will learn more about the dos and don’ts of trekking. After your tutorial, you are to enter the jungle with several rangers and trackers looking for the mountain gorillas, and once found, you are likely to spend a full hour watching them feed as the playful young ones get close to you.

After a successful gorilla adventure, head back to your lodge for lunch and relaxation as you get prepared for the Batwa experience. You are to penetrate the impenetrable forest for the second time, heading to the Batwa community who are the natives of the forest and from here you will learn more about their lifestyle and hunting skills as you are entertained by their local songs and dances.

14 days Uganda WildlifeDay 10: Transfer from Bwindi impenetrable to lake Bunyonyi

After a relaxed and lousy breakfast, you will then check out the lodge and drive via the beautiful, cultivated, steep hills, heading to Lake Bunyonyi. Check-in at your lodge for the meals and overnight stay.

Day 11: morning cultural encounter and evening boat safari

Your morning breakfast will be followed by a cultural encounter through the neighbouring communities, where you will have a chance to interact with the different locals After that cultural adventure, you will head back to your lodge for relaxation and lunch.

Next to lunch will be a boat safari on the second deepest lake in Africa, where you can anticipate learning more about the different islands on the lake and several bird species.

Day 12: Transfer to lake Mburo national park

Enjoy your morning breakfast, check out the lodge and then proceed to Lake Mburo national park. Check-in at your lodge, enjoy your lunch, and then go for an evening game drive where you can spot several warthogs, antelopes, buffalos, zebras, and giraffes.

Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 13: game drive and evening boat safari

Enjoy your morning breakfast and then hit the wild for your morning game drive, where you can spot giraffes, buffalos, warthogs, waterbucks, elands, impalas, and many more.

Head back to the lodge for lunch and thereafter, your guide will drive you to the lake for a boat safari, where you are to spot several hippos, crocodiles, and bird species in the waters and along the banks.

Morning breakfast, check out the lodge and embark on your drive back to Kampala Here, the guide will either drive you straight to the airport for your departure flight back home or take you to the hotel in case your flight is late in the night.
