Day 1: transfer to queen Elizabeth national park

After meeting up with a professional tour guide from monumental tours and expeditions you have a pre-tour briefing and then proceed along the kampala- Mbarara highway heading to the second biggest national park in Uganda situated in kasese district covering an area distance of 1,978 square kilometers.

Check in, dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

 

Day 2: game drive and afternoon boat cruise

Waking up for the early morning game drive that starts with that special early morning breakfast, you will commence into the wild in the comfort of your 4×4 safari vehicle watching the fascinating actions scenes of the predators hunting down their prey before the sun rises. On your game drive expect to see plenty of animals including the lions, waterbucks, buffalos, leopards, warthogs, and plenty more.

After a magnifiscent game drive you will head back the lodge for refreshment, lunch and then proceed for the boat safari on the kazinga channel and its were you will get a chance to see the different schools of hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffalos, and several water birds along the showers of the channel.

Day 3: the tree climbing lions in ishasha sector and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park

After enjoying your morning breakfast, you will check out the lodge and leave the park via the ishasha sector enjoying an en route game viewing safari will an expectation of watching the tree climbing lions and then connect to Bwindi impenetrable national park.

Day 4: gorilla trekking and evening cultural encounter

Beginning the day with an early morning breakfast, you will then drive to the park headquarters with well packed lunch getting well prepared for the memorable gorilla adventure. At the head quarters you will be entertained by the locals taking you through there songs and dances and a pre-trekking briefing as you will here after enter into the pure jungle for the great apes.

upon allocating them, you will have a full hour with these creatures watching the infants play as the seniors are busy feeding. You will take pictures of your like as you will at the same time be entertained by the several primates and birds within the area.

After a wonderful gorilla adventure, you will drive back to the lodge for refreshment and the hit the jungle again for the cultural encounter were you will meet up with the batwa who reside within the forest of Bwindi. You will get exposed to their hunting techniques, cultural songs, dances and the different art piece they have to present to you.

Day 5: departure

Having a relaxed breakfast you will then checkout the lodge and start up the journey back home. You will get your lunch en route and then proceed to the airport or to the hotel of your choice making the end of your 5 Days Uganda Gorillas and Lions safari.
