Enjoy your food and sleep.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking- Bwindi Forest
On this day, get up early enough to eat breakfast and prepare your lunch before being driven to the park headquarters by your driver guide. At 8:00 a.m., park rangers will advise you on the park’s laws and what you should and should not do when you encounter the gorillas. It takes between 2 and 8 hours to track gorillas.
Following that, you will begin by ensuring that you have enough drinking water, sturdy shoes, a jacket, and a walking stick. When you meet the gorillas, it will be like a dream fulfilled since you will have a terrific time watching the lively youngsters, silverbacks, and other gentle giants feed the young ones.
Take as many photographs as you like with the flash turned off on your camera. Later, return to your accommodation and rest. In the evening, you have the option of staying at the lodge and relaxing or taking an evening stroll around the Batwa village, which will allow you to engage with these people, understand how they live, and see them perform their traditional dances and songs. Return to the lodge, have dinner, and sleep.
Day 3: Kibale Forest National Park
Begin your day with a delicious breakfast before checking out of the lodge and beginning your drive to Kibale National Park. The landscape in Kabale will be one of the highlights of this exhilarating adventure.
As you proceed to Kibale, you will have the opportunity to snap photos if necessary. Proceed to the lodge and check in, dinner and overnight stay. After that, return to the lodge and rest up for a full and exciting day tomorrow.
Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking- Kibale Forest
After your early morning meal, head to the park to do chimp tracking; it’s an incredible experience. You will also get the chance to witness lovely birds and primates such as White and Black colobus monkeys, Baboons, L’Hoest’s monkeys, and Grey cheeked mangabeys. When you meet the chimps, you will be amazed as you see them leap on different trees, feed and play, and observe nests in which they rest/sleep.
Take enough shots, but turn off your camera’s flash. Later, return to the resort for lunch, check out, and go back on the road to Kampala or Entebbe, depending on whether your flight is that day.
