9 Days Nyerere and Zanzibar Safari Overview, This 9-day Nyerere and Zanzibar Safari starts in Zanzibar and takes you to the best beaches, animals, and adventures the country has to offer. Nyerere National Park is a beautiful reserve that isn’t as well known. It has Africa’s largest untouched natural area and the best safari possibilities. You will spend a few days in Nyerere, where you can go on beautiful boat trips on the many rivers and lakes, including the huge Rufigi River, which is the reserve’s main source of water.

While you’re still in Nyerere, you can visit the reserve’s different areas every day on foot or in a custom-built 4×4. You’ll get stunning views of the animals and birds. Nyerere is at its best from July to the end of October, when the dry season is at its worst and all the animals are gathered around the few stable water sources. It is also one of the few national parks with armed guards who lead walking safaris.

After an amazing trip to see wildlife, your 9 Days Nyerere and Zanzibar Safari will take you to Zanzibar’s beautiful white-sand beaches, where you will stay in a lovely beach hotel with a great view of the ocean. Over the course of your trip to Zanzibar, you will have plenty of time to unwind and enjoy the beautiful island’s many beach activities. These include snorkeling in the Indian Ocean, scuba diving, beach games, and tours of a spice plantation and Stone Town, the country’s capital, to learn about its fascinating history and culture.
