Gorilla Trekking Lodges In Rwanda.

Gorilla Trekking Lodges in Rwanda.

Gorilla Trekking Lodges in Rwanda, There are only about 1,063 mountain gorillas left in the wild, so a trekking trip to see these beautiful animals is a one-of-a-kind and, unfortunately, once-in-a-lifetime chance. The good news is that most of the money made from trekking tourists goes directly to protecting gorillas and the jungle where they live. And since there are so many great lodges that bring in more great trekkers like you, those profits keep expanding.

Rwanda is one of the smallest countries in Africa, but it has a strong heart. The people who live there are young and full of life, and they are happy to share their music, art, and culture with tourists who are going through. It’s too bad that the name of this African country is still associated with sadness.

Rwanda quickly became known as a great place to see animals and go on adventures, all while slowly getting over the shame of its past. People call Rwanda “the Land of a Thousand Hills” because there are so many mountains in this beautiful country. Some of the best places to go gorilla trekking are in Rwanda, and they are near Volcanoes National Park. We will talk about these hotels in this blog.

The Silverback Lodge in Sabyinyo.

When you’re in Rwanda to see gorillas, staying at Sabyinyo is like seeing an old friend. The Governor’s Collection includes Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge, which is owned by a community trust. This place is at the base of the beautiful Virunga mountains.

From its remote location, you can see stunning views, and its close ties to the local community make it possible to do many things besides gorilla climbing. The lodge is in a great spot because it’s close to the park offices, which is where the gorilla trekking adventure begins. It’s also in a peaceful place where tourists can relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

The terracotta cabins are warm, friendly, and very cozy. They have views of a scene from “Gorillas in the Mist,” with rolling hills and soft fog. The setting of the Virunga Mountains is beautiful, and you’ll be going there for your gorilla trip. The cabin is only a short walk from the Volcanoes National Park entrance and the beginning of the hike. This gives you more time to enjoy a coffee and a big breakfast (great for energy!) before starting the hike.

Bisate Lodge.

When a new lodge opens, it’s always exciting, and the Bisate lodge in Volcanoes National Park is no different! With modern conical cabins that look like castles, beautiful furniture, and even more beautiful views of the looming Virunga volcanoes.

Bisate came out in June 2017. Wilderness’s newest camp, Bisate Lodge, is in the middle of a forest and has views of three big volcanoes: Bisoke, Karisimbi, and Mikeno. This lodge is a great option for people who want to stay in style in a beautiful place because it is close to Volcanoes National Park and its main office, where you can go gorilla trekking and do other activities.

The lodge is in western Rwanda, close to Volcanoes National Park. It is built on the natural slopes of an extinct volcano. Bisate is right next to Kinigi, which is where the park offices are, and it’s a great place to start for tours of the park and gorilla trekking.

The area where the lodge is now located used to be farms. The Bisate team has worked hard to reforest the area with native plants to protect the forest’s beauty and give many bird species a place to live. The lodge has a shared eating and lounge area as well as six domes that can be used as separate rooms.

Bisate’s six homes in the woods are truly memorable. The rooms at Bisate are shaped like domes and are covered in thatch and thickets of bamboo. This style was inspired by the old royal house in Rwanda. The outside looks very “Rwandan,” but the inside is modern and fresh, with dramatic shades of gray and green to show that it is in the middle of the mountains.

Volcanoes National Park is where the gorilla treks happen, but the lodge also offers treks to see the golden monkeys, Dian Fossey’s grave, and the twin lakes of Ruhondo and Burera. There are also trips to the local community and the chance to help plant trees.

A small hotel called Five Volcanoes.

There is an easy way to get to the park’s gate from the Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel, which is a great place to stay for a low price and with a restaurant, a pool, and beautiful gardens to relax in. It’s a great choice for people looking for cheaper lodging in the area because it’s close to the park offices and has nice rooms. This small hotel is in Kinigi, which is on the edge of Volcanoes National Park. The hotel is a great place to stay because the hamlet is right at the base of the hills leading to the park’s entrance and offices.

You can find 13 stone chalets and one luxury cottage in the well-kept gardens and around the pool. At any time of the day, guests can use the separate bar, dining room, and lounge area in the main house. The beautiful grounds have a pool, a massage hut, a sauna, and a steam room for people who want to relax completely.

The stone houses look like they belong in Rwanda. Each one has its own bathroom and seats outside with views of the volcanic mountain range nearby. The rooms are simple, but they have everything you need for a good night’s sleep after a fun and active day.

The lodge’s position on the edge of the national park makes almost all tourists (over 15) want to walk and follow Rwanda’s mountain gorillas. You can rent bikes, go on a hike to see golden monkeys in the bamboo jungle, or take a boat tour through the Rwandan farmland for an extra fee. Guests can choose their own activities on the spot, and the lodge has everything they need to spend the day relaxing if they want to.

View of Mountain View Gorilla Lodge.

The Volcanoes National Park gate is only 3 kilometers away from the Mountain View Gorilla Lodge, which has stunning views of the Virunga Massif’s volcanic mountains. This lodge is not only a great place to stay while hiking with mountain gorillas and golden monkeys, but it’s also a nice place to rest each night, with fires and blankets to keep you warm.

This lovely eco-lodge is set on the slopes of Mount Karisimbi, which is a volcano and part of the Virunga Volcanoes Range, also called the Virunga Massif. Beautiful views of volcanoes can be seen from Mountain View Gorilla Lodge, which is only 3 kilometers from the park offices.

On the grounds of the lodge, there are 30 different houses where people can stay. You will feel welcome in the open, central dining and living area when you walk around the lodge’s grounds. You will also be amazed by the beautiful views of the volcanoes. People who stayed at the property recently heard mostly bad things about the new wing that was added. That doesn’t mean we don’t recommend the property; we recommend that you stay in the rooms in the original wing.

The brick and tile cabins aren’t very fancy, but they have a nice bed and a bathroom right next to the cottage. A generator gives off power and hot water, but it’s only turned on at certain times of the day, usually around 6 p.m. Each house has a fireplace in the living room. Because it is cold here (because of the elevation), the fireplace is probably used more often than not!

The Volcanoes National Park opening is only about a 10-minute drive from Mountain View Gorilla Lodge. This gives it a big advantage over hotels that are farther away. The main draw is, of course, trekking to see critically endangered mountain gorilla families. Depending on which family you see, the trip can last anywhere from 40 minutes to seven hours. It is also easy to plan trips to see the park’s golden monkeys because it is in a handy place.

The Virunga Lodge.

There are views of the Virunga Volcanoes to the west from the Virunga Lodge. To the east are the lakes of Burera and Ruhondo. The park offices are about an hour’s drive away. This is a great place to go gorilla trekking and also see the surrounding countryside and towns. There are 10 different Bandas around the ridge that make up the lodge.

The main lodge is nice in the evening after a day of visiting the national park. It has a living room, a dining room, and the Dian Fossey map room. From July 2017, there will be a maid in every room. Virunga has 10 different “Bandas” that are made in the traditional way in Rwanda, with stone walls and tile roofs. The en-suite Bandas are named after the lakes that are close by. Each one has a fireplace and a private deck with a view of the mountains and twin lakes.

The main reason people visit Volcanoes National Park is to go on hikes to see mountain gorillas and golden monkeys. At the lodge, you can also climb the Karisimbi and Bisoke volcanoes, visit the nearby twin lakes, and take part in group activities like watching traditional dancers, going to a local elementary school, and going to Roz Carr’s orphanage, which takes care of children who lost their parents or were orphaned during the Rwandan genocide.

The one and only Gorilla’s Nest Lodge.

The beautiful One & Only Gorilla’s Nest Lodge is tucked away in a patch of eucalyptus trees and has views of the Virunga Mountains in the distance. There are two parts to this one-of-a-kind primate vacation home: the main cabin and Jack Hanna Cottage. Guests can choose between the two rooms in Hanna Cottage or the two rooms in the Ranch Rooms that are next to each other. Each room has a rollaway bed that can fit a third guest.

You will like the lodge’s room, which has plush furniture and one-of-a-kind Rwandan art, as well as its calm, classic atmosphere. Take a walk outside to enjoy the sight of huge hydrangeas and the sounds of some of the 178 bird species that live in the area.

The Eco Lodge at Tiloreza Volcanoes

The Tiloreza Volcanoes Eco Lodge is a simple place to stay and do things in the area. We believe that you should first and foremost feel at ease while you journey. That’s why the lodge staff is so proud to give you great customer service in a friendly setting. There are regular rooms, luxury rooms, and VIP cottages at the lodge.

Second, the lodge’s management thinks it’s very important to have less of an impact on the environment while having more of an impact on the local communities. The Tiloreza Volcanoes eco lodge is always looking for new ways to help make the world a better place. The lodge also does everything it can to get involved in the community and support projects that help the earth and teach people.

You can choose from standard or luxury rooms at the lodge, so you can enjoy your stay in peace and comfort. You will have your own porch with a view of your piece of paradise in a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment. If you stay at this lodge, you can use the nice features it offers, like the yard, Wi-Fi, and swimming pool.

The hotel Virunga Resort Inn & Spa

There are four stars on the Virunga Inn, which is a modern, full-service hotel and resort for wildlife, business, and pleasure travelers. Rooms face the peaceful and green Virunga mountains (Bisoke, Sabyinyo, and Karisimbi). The building is more in line with western ideas and is designed to make people feel at home even though they are thousands of kilometers away.

The rooms are very comfortable and stylish, with beautiful furniture and a wide range of services and amenities for business, pleasure, and wildlife travelers. With great care, the Virunga Inn was made to be the most comfortable hotel experience for the least amount of money. The value for money at this midrange facility in the Northwestern area of Rwanda is great.

This bright and busy hotel is in a great spot right in the middle of Volcanoes National Park. It takes less than 2 hours and 38 minutes to get to the airport from this 4-star vacation hotel. The Kinigi Trading Center is only a 5-minute walk away, and the Dian Fossey Fund is a 30-minute walk away. The Virunga Inn is only 6.2 miles from the Ruhengeri airport, making it easy to get to all the main sights in this famous “region of a thousand hills.”

The 43 stylish, light rooms have king and twin beds and can fit up to three people. They are up to 22 meters wide. A home away from home is made with stylish interior design and beautiful furniture. There is a king-size bed, a flat-screen satellite TV, air conditioning, coffee and tea makers in the rooms, free Wi-Fi, and security that is on duty 24 hours a day.

Le Bambou Lodge for Gorillas

You can find this cool new resort in Kinigi, Musanze District. It’s only a few kilometers from Volcanoes National Park, which is home to the rare mountain gorilla. The super deluxe rooms, which are surrounded by flower fields, are a beautiful home away from home.

They are available at reasonable prices and come with quick service from professionals with a lot of experience. There are 23 separate cabins that make up the Lodge. Each one has its own fireplace. The rooms were designed and built so that you would be comfortable. The house was made entirely of eco-friendly materials and things found in the area, like bamboo.

The property is brilliant because it is comfortable, reasonably priced, easy to get to, and in a great spot. There are a lot of job opportunities in the area because the lodge works closely with the community. A local traditional dancing group entertains tourists while showing off Rwanda’s culture and way of life, which encourages tourism that doesn’t harm the environment.

The Da Vinci Lodge

Welcome to Da Vinci Gorilla Lodge, one of the best safari hotels in northern Rwanda. We offer great rooms for people visiting Volcanoes National Park.
