The Nga Moru Wilderness Camp is a one-of-a-kind mid-range camp that was built to serve people on safari in Kidepo Valley National Park. The name of the camp, “Nga Moru,” comes from a local word that means “rock.” The camp is just outside the park’s borders, so it has a great view of the Narus River, where you can go on a game drive and see many different kinds of animals.

Kidepo Valley National Park Campsites and the Weather
If you’re going to camp in Kidepo Valley National Park, you should know about how the weather changes there. For starters, Kidepo Valley National Park is in a semi-arid region where the average yearly temperature is about 29 degrees Celsius. It gets up to 40 degrees Celsius during the day. As it turns out, the park only gets one yearly rainy season a year, from April to September. The rainy season may last a long time, but it’s not always steady, and the average amount of rain that falls each year is only 700 mm.

From September to March, it’s dry.

It can be dry in September, October, and November, but it can also rain during these months. In the morning, it’s only 17 degrees Celsius, and in the afternoon, it can get up to 29 degrees Celsius, or 84 degrees Fahrenheit.

December, January, and February: It doesn’t rain much during these months, and it gets hotter and dry. It gets about 32 degrees Celsius during the day and 18 degrees Celsius in the morning in January and February, which are the hottest months. During the busiest times of the year, temps can easily reach 40 degrees Celsius (104F).

March will still be a dry month, but rain will come first to cool things down and clear away the dust.
