LODGES IN MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK: If you are looking for where to stay in Murchison Falls National Park, here is a line of places for you to choose out, so many safari lodges that range from budget to luxury that you can choose for your stay. And these lodges range between the cost of $40 to $500 per night.   • Masindi Hotel

This is one of Uganda ‘s oldest and colonial style hotel. It was recently renovated and provides nice accommodation at a friendly rate. It’s located in Masindi town, the hotel’s restaurant and bar also provides an excellent lunch stop on the way to Murchison Falls National Park. Guests can easily travel to the nearby “Royal Mile”, famous for its majestic mahogany trees and numerous bird species.

  • Fort Murchison Lodge

It is a Dutch –owned lodge located in northern part of Murchison Falls National Park, eastern of Pakwach and set on the banks of peaceful flowing Albert Nile. It’s the largest protected area with unique selection of birds. The lodge is an affordable option for accommodation in Murchison falls national park with about 12 en suite rooms. Its rooms are well furnished with comfortable beds, en suite bathrooms supplied with hot water from the Eco-Solar water heaters. There is also provision of thatched tents which can fit perfectly in the mid-range and Budget safari plan this provides the value for money to the guests.

  • Sambiya Lodge

Sambiya lodge is a mid-range lodge situated near the top of Murchison Falls in a beautiful forested ravine, located in Masindi. Traditional thatched and stone “rondavel” rooms are all en suite with solar powered heat and lighting, fully equipped private bathrooms. The dining area (full English/Irish breakfast served daily at the property) and bar is located in an open sided veranda, allowing guests to view the flood-lit garden area at night where animals graze and even visit the swimming pool. The forest surrounding the lodge is perfect for those wanting to search for birds and other wildlife.

  • Nile Safari Lodge

Nile Safari Lodge - LODGES IN MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARKNile Safari Lodge has an iconic reputation due to its unique location in one of the most beautiful settings in Africa (located on the banks of the Nile River). It is half Murchison and Lake Albert. All rooms are en suite. Nile Safari Lodge surrounds you with the Africa as you always dreamed of. Herds of elephant, hippopotamus, crocodile and other large mammals are regularly sighted from the lodge, as the Nile flows majestically by. The lodge is also famous for its bird life, and is one of the few places from which the elusive shoebill stork can be spotted.

  • Paraa Lodge                                                                                                               

Paraa lodge is highly perched on a cliff having a spectacular view of the mighty Nile River. The large two storied lodge has an upstairs restaurant and bar, perfect for enjoying drinks and dinner while watching the sun set over the Nile. A large pool area with its own bar provides a welcome respite from the heat of the day.

  • Red Chili Bandas

This place has rooms known as ‘Bandas’, they are small two person circular huts made of local materials with thatched roofs. It offers guests an opportunity to enjoy the local wildlife, including friendly warthogs, monkeys right outside their rooms.

  • Chobe lodge

Chobe lodge is a new lodge standing on a cliff above the Victoria Nile valley on the far Eastern side of Murchison Falls National Park. It boasts panoramic views, and sounds of the River Nile’s magnificent rapids of as it sets the scene for an adventure that will impress even the most discerning of visitors. Its accommodation consists of 36 elegant guest rooms, 21 luxury tents, 4 suites and a Presidential Cottage. The River Nile is the main focus from an architect’s perspective, and so all the rooms and luxury tents have balconies and terraces facing the magnificent sweeping views. It has a well-stocked bar, lounge and terrace for meals as well as two swimming pools and related facilities.

  • Pakuba lodge

Pakuba lodge is situated on the eastern bank of Albert Nile, easily accessed through Tangi gate. Its 46 Luxury spacious rooms can be set with either twins or a double bed. The large lounge area and surrounding grounds give guests a grand-stand view of Lake Albert and the Albert Nile.
