Day by day
DAY 01: Pick up from Airport/Hotel in Nairobi and transfer to Samburu National park
To fly to Samburu National Park, you will meet your guide at the Nairobi hotel/airport, drive to Wilson Airport, check in, eat lunch, and then continue for an evening game drive. After dinner, you will spend the night relaxing at the resort.
DAY 02: Morning game drive and Visit of the Samburu Community
You will go on a wildlife drive in the morning, eat lunch, and then go to the Samburu community to see their culture. Samburu Game Reserve’s breathtaking natural beauty, rivers, and woods are its main attractions. The people that live there have a rich and diverse history. Numerous permanent springs and a multitude of animals, including reticulated giraffes, grevy’s zebras, lions, elephants, hippopotamus, leopards, and crocodiles in the Ewaso Nyiro River, may be found in the reserves. The sanctuaries are home to more than 365 different species of birds.
DAY 03: Flight to Masai Mara National Park
You will go to Kalama airport for your journey to Masai Mara Game Reserve after breakfast. Occasionally, when traveling through Masai land, one will come across Masai herdsmen coexisting peacefully with the wildlife and their livestock.
It is hard to comprehend how diverse and abundant the Mara’s wildlife is—more than 450 animal species have been identified here. DAY 04: Game drives in Masai Mara National Park
You’ll go on morning and afternoon game drives in this amazing park today. The annual wildebeest migration, which occurs in the Masai Mara between July and October, is what makes the area famous.
More than a million wildebeests and thousands of other herbivores move from Serengeti National Park to the Mara during this period in quest of better living conditions. DAY 05: Flight from Masai Mara to Entebbe, overnight in Entebbe and UWEC behind scene
Fly from Masai-Mara to Entebbe International Airport after an early breakfast, spend the night there, and engage in optional activities.
DAY 06: Domestic flight to Kisoro and optional activities around the lodge.
Drive to Entebbe International Airport for your domestic trip to Kisoro after an early breakfast. Check in at 0600 and depart at 0700. optional activities include a boat or canoe excursion around the resort or park or the Batwa trail.
DAY 07: Gorilla Trekking in Mgahinga National Park. Dinner and Overnight at Gahinga Lodge
You can also go gorilla trekking in Bwindi, where you’ll lodge at 4 Gorillas Lodge, Gorilla Heights Lodge, or Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge.
You will be driven to the park headquarters for a gorilla tracking briefing following breakfast with your packed lunch. Your age, interest, and level of fitness determine your gorilla family allotment. Before you set out on your forest hike, please attempt to let your guide know what interests you so he may try to find you a group that suits you.
After joining other clients for a briefing at headquarters in the park, proceed to the forest to walk the gorillas. After locating them, you have an hour to take pictures and observe them before heading back to the lodge. Gorilla tracking is an incredible once-in-a-lifetime event, but it can also be a tiresome workout that calls for a certain degree of endurance.
DAY 08: Golden Monkey in Mgahinga National Park. Dinner and Overnight at Gahinga Lodge
