4 Days Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Tanzania safari

One of the greatest low-cost Tanzania safaris that is suggested for anyone traveling to Tanzania for a safari is this 4-day Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro safari, which tours the country’s most well-known wildlife regions. On a Big Five safari in Northern Tanzania, you can view all five of the Big Five creatures in the Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti.

The most well-known wildlife destinations in the Northern Safari circuit are Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti National Park; both are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Depending on when you choose to go on this safari, you will have the opportunity to observe a variety of wildlife species, including the massive yearly migration of wildebeest into the Serengeti.

4 Days Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Tanzania safariDay by day

DAY 01:  Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your driving guide will pick you up from Arusha and take you to Tarangire National Park for a full day of morning and evening game drives. After checking in at your lodge and getting refreshed, you will head out for a full day of wildlife viewing in Tarangire National Park, which is well-known for its enormous elephant populations—an estimated 2,500—as well as its stunning giant Baobab trees, the Tarangire River, and a variety of bird species.

DAY 02: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

After driving to Serengeti National Park, you’ll have breakfast at your lodge. From here to the main entrance will take about 6 hours. You can stop at Olduvai Gorge for a historical tour before heading to Serengeti for an evening wildlife drive to spot late grazers and watch the sunset. If you plan this safari between December and March or May and November, you can watch the great yearly migration of wildebeests and zebras towards new pastures in Serengenti National Park. The Big 5 and other species can be seen in Serengeti.

DAY 03: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Following breakfast, you will take a morning game drive before leaving for Ngorongoro with a picnic lunch to observe wildlife across the expansive Serengeti plains. You can choose to go through the Olduvai Gorge. Numerous amazing archeological finds have been made in this region. It’s also a lovely place with Tanzanian Acacia trees towering over the countryside and lush, grassy ground. Another choice would be to go to a Masai village and discover their captivating singing and dance as well as their nomadic culture. You should definitely attempt to compete in the high jumps of the Maasai men!
