5 Day Uganda Gorilla and Chimpanzee via Kigali

For individuals who want to see mountain gorillas and chimpanzees in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Mhagahinga National Park, and Kibale Forest National Park, there is a 5-day Uganda Gorilla and Chimpanzee Safari through Kigali.Visiting the top gorilla and primate national parks in the world will be an exciting experience. Day by day

DAY 01:  Pick up from Kigali and transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

To begin your five-day Uganda gorilla and chimp safari, you will meet your guide at the hotel/airport early in the morning. Before continuing, you will have lunch en route and then make a stop at the Genocide Memorial in Kigali for a cultural and historical experience.

DAY 02: Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi Wetland walk

You will proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing regarding the chimpanzee hike following an early breakfast. The rules and regulations for the walk will be explained to you by your guide. After that, you will begin the hike, get an hour to see the gorillas, and then head back. You will get the opportunity to see baboons, monkeys, birds, and other creatures while on the journey.
After returning, you will have a refreshment at the lodge before touring the Bigodi settlement and wetland. You will be able to go through the swamp and observe birds while interacting with the locals.

DAY 03: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Driving to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park after breakfast will get you there in the late afternoon for dinner and the night. Nkuringo, Rushaga, Ruhija, and Buhoma are the three sectors of Bwindi, and they are situated in the city’s north and south. The type of housing you choose will depend on the licenses that are available.

DAY 04: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi

After an early breakfast, proceed to the Park headquarters for trek briefing. You’ll start your trip into the bush once your guide explains gorilla trekking rules. Your group will go into the dense mountain rain forest in the morning with experienced guides and trackers. The lifetime experience of seeing mountain gorillas in their native habitat is worth the trek through dense foliage and steep hills. Within meters of these majestic primates, you will experience their daily life and activities. Mountain gorillas are endangered, with only 880 left. This will be unforgettable! You’ll receive certificates and relax at the resort for dinner and overnight after an hour of gorilla viewing.

DAY 05: Transfer back to Kigali for the flight out

After breakfast, leave the lodge and drive to Kigali to end the tour. After lunch, you’ll head to the airport/hotel to end your 5-day Uganda Gorilla and Chimp Safari through Kigali.
