The best luxury safari adventure trip to discover Kenya’s wildlife and incredible birdlife at Lake Nakuru and Naivasha is this 8-day safari. It’s also a great location for photography and filming, giving you the chance to capture stunning scenes and images of the main wildlife species Kenya has to offer. You’ll also have the chance to see all five of the Big Five animals as well as other wildlife.

Amboseli National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Naivasha, and Masai Mara are all included in this 8-day Kenya Luxury Safari, where you can enjoy fantastic game viewing, bird watching, and optional village visits. Beginning and ending in Nairobi, this all-inclusive vacation is tailored for affluent tourists.

8 Days Luxury Safari KenyaDay by day

DAY 01:  Pick up from Nairobi and transfer to Amboseli National Park

You will drive to Amboseli National Park this morning after breakfast at your Nairobi hotel or from the airport. This park is well-known for its large population of elephants that roam the expansive grasslands, the Big Five, and the breathtaking views of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, among other flora and fauna. After arriving in the afternoon, you will settle into your lodge, eat a hearty lunch, unwind, and then go on a wildlife drive in the park to look for late grazers. The trip will end with a sundowner.

DAY 02: Game drives in Amboseli National Park

Two game drives are included in the full day in Amboseli National Park. This enormous lake bed, which is frequently dry but occasionally marshy, is traversed by car. We have a lot of wildlife here, including herds of elephants, giraffes, gazelles, buffalo, and cheetahs, all against the breathtaking backdrop of beautiful Mount Kilimanjaro in all its splendor. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to visit a Masai village to learn about their culture and way of life.

DAY 03: Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park

Following breakfast at the Lodge, you will drive to Lake Nakuru National Park and go on an en route wildlife drive. You will make a quick lunch stop in Nairobi. Numerous animals can be found in Lake Nakuru National Park, such as lions, buffalos, hippos, waterbucks, warthogs, baboons, the endangered Rothschild’s giraffes, which are only found in this park in Kenya, white rhinos, and the rare black rhinos, which are protected and guarded here. Leopards are also frequently seen sleeping on the branches of the magnificent yellow-barked acacias. Come for a game drive in the late afternoon.

DAY 04: Drive to Lake Naivasha

You will leave for Lake Naivasha after breakfast and check in at your lodge before having a nice lunch. After a short break, you’ll spend the afternoon at leisure before a nighttime boat excursion to Crescent Island, where you can wander with the animals! This evening will be wonderful.
Kenya’s Crescent Island Game Park sits on Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley. Due to its diverse wildlife and bird species, several film companies film wildebeests, waterbucks, zebras, and gazelles on this Kenyan island. Since the island is open, giraffes and hippos graze there. With a careful eye, you may notice local reptiles like pythons with kills.
The hilltop offers a 360-degree panorama of Longonot, Hell’s Gate, the Mau Escarpment, Eburu, and the Aberdares across the Lake. Africa is about walking up the ridge in the golden hour before sunset, seeing the animals graze on the Island and the water glistening beyond. Return by boat to the lodge for dinner and sleep.

DAY 05: Drive to Masai Mara National Reserve

Drive to the renowned Masai Mara National Reserve, which is the setting for “the greatest wildlife spectacle on earth,” which is the yearly migration of more than a million wildebeest, following breakfast and a briefing from your driver guide. Get to your camp in time for lunch. Take a safari in the most visited reserve in Kenya for the afternoon. Return to the lodge in time for supper and campfire cocktails.

DAY 06: Full Day in Mara National Reserve

You will spend your two days on safari in the most abundant animal watching area in Africa. The Mara has historically been home to Kenya’s largest herds of elephants and lion prides. In addition to spotted hyenas, cheetahs, and leopards, the Mara River is home to large Nile crocodiles and fat hippo pods.

DAY 07: Game viewing and optional balloon ride in Masai Mara

At an additional cost, take advantage of the chance to fly over the Mara in a hot air balloon. A champagne brunch in the wild is included in the balloon package! Seeing a lot of game afloat in a balloon is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, if you have the funds. Or, for an additional fee, go to a Masai community and learn about their culture.

DAY 08: Departure

Say goodbye to the Masai Mara as you depart for Nairobi after breakfast at the Camp. Return to Nairobi by driving down the Great Rift Valley, passing Mount Longonot, the dormant volcano, and the lakes Elementeita and Naivasha. Head up the escarpment and watch for gazelle and giraffe populations. Early in the afternoon, you will land in Nairobi, the vibrant capital of Kenya. Spend time shopping at the last minute. You are responsible for making your own lunch arrangements.

Make your way to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi in time for your flight out.
