Day by day
DAY 01: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Transfer to Tarangire after being picked up in Arusha, passing via a number of rural communities and farmland. The view of Tarangire National Park is breathtaking. More than 30 large herbivore animals and around 500 distinct bird species call it home. As you go through this amazing area of natural beauty, take in the tall, dense baobab trees, the swamp, rivers, and lakes, and try to spot other wildlife.
DAY 02: Tarangire National Park
You will have your first Game Drive adventure at Tarangire National Park following breakfast. With more than 500 different species of birds, the National Park is a birdwatcher’s paradise. Additionally, about 30 huge herbivores call it home! Large grassy plains, savannah, forest, woods, lakes, and marshes make up this intriguing habitat. Every region is home to a variety of animals. Make sure to see the termite mounds scattered around the terrain. The termites abandon them, and the dwarf mongooses occupy them and make them their homes. They serve a picnic lunch.
DAY 03: Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park
Following breakfast, you will continue to explore the park in an effort to spot any species that you were unable to see the day before.
After eating your picnic lunch, continue traveling northwest through the breathtakingly beautiful, farm-dotted highland landscape before entering the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. From here, you may traverse the expansive Serengeti plains, where you should begin seeing animals even before you enter the park.
DAY 04: Serengeti
The Serengeti National Park, which is renowned for its environment, natural beauty, and abundance of animals, birds, and insects, is the destination for your fantastic game drive after breakfast. Expect to witness creatures like lions, zebras, Thomson’s gazelle, wildebeest, and more against an amazing backdrop of breathtaking scenery. The Serengeti’s Annual Migration, in which animals journey thousands of miles across East Africa each year, also takes place in this park. This park is so vast that it surpasses the size of numerous small nations. It is situated between Lake Victoria, Lake Eyasi, and the Great Rift Valley. You can choose to have a picnic in the park or be taken back to the lodge for lunch.
DAY 05: Serengeti to Ngorongoro
You leave for Ngorongoro with a picnic lunch after breakfast in order to observe the expansive Serengeti plains. You can choose to go through the Olduvai Gorge. Numerous amazing archeological finds have been made in this region. It’s also a lovely place with Tanzanian Acacia trees towering over the countryside and lush, grassy ground. Another choice would be to go to a Masai village and discover their captivating singing and dance as well as their nomadic culture. You should definitely attempt to compete in the high jumps of the Maasai men!
DAY 06: Ngorongoro
This morning, you leave your accommodation after breakfast to explore the largest complete volcano caldera in the world. Many people call Ngorongoro Crater the eighth wonder of the world! The crater, which was created by a volcano erupting millions of years ago, is home to more than 25,000 huge creatures. The enormous, walled crater, which also contains gorgeous lakes, verdant forests, and expansive grasslands, is home to the animals, who coexist peacefully. Owing to its vastness and variety, the crater floor is made up of a number of different regions, including open grassland, some sandy dunes, lakes, springs, swamps, and forests. The nature experience is amazing.
A picnic lunch is provided with a view of a tiny lake that is home to hippos.
