7 Days Honeymoon Adventure Rwanda

In addition to hiking the Mountain Bisoke Volcano and visiting the Dian Fossey Tomb, this seven-day Rwanda honeymoon adventure will allow you to track mountain gorillas and golden monkeys in Volcanoes National Park. You will enjoy wonderful nature walks, cultural outings, and bird watching. This all-inclusive seven-day Rwandan honeymoon adventure will begin and finish in Kigali.

Day by day

DAY 01:  Arrival and transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Our safari guide will meet you at the airport in Kigali and take you to Volcanoes National Park. The trip north passes through Rwanda’s stunning terraced hillsides, which showcase the country’s stunning terrain of more than a thousand hills.

DAY 02: Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park

You will drive to Parc National des Volcans’ park headquarters following breakfast. After receiving a briefing from the ranger guides, you will begin your gorilla trekking in the light mountain forest on the Virunga slopes with a packed lunch. After tracking, you might be able to go to Ibyiwacu Ex-Pocher’s village to see a cultural show.

DAY 03: Golden monkey tracking in Volcanoes National Park

You will have a golden monkey track after breakfast. The most endangered primates in the Volcanoes are these golden monkeys.

DAY 04: Visit the Diana Fossey Grave

Following breakfast at the Lodge, you will go to Karisoke, the burial site of Dian Fossey, a woman who conducted extensive research on African mountain gorillas. The same location where she was buried is also where she buried Digit, her amiable gorilla. You will return to your hotel after the visit.

DAY 05: Hike Mountain Bisoke/ Visoke and visit Crater Lake on the top

After breakfast, depart the hotel at 0630 hours to meet your guide. From there, drive to the park entrance to begin your journey. Depending on your level of fitness, climbing Mount Visoke/Bisoke takes one to two hours, and descending takes one hour. After lunch, return to your hotel for dinner and the night.

DAY 06: Visit twin lakes and boat ride

After breakfast in the morning, take a boat tour of the twin lakes, Lake Ruhondo and Burera, before being driven to Kigali.

DAY 07: Drive to Kigali for a city tour and Transfer to the Airport for your departure flight out

The 7 Days Rwanda Honeymoon Adventure will conclude with a stop at the Genocide Museum following your city tour of Kigali. Depending on when your flight departs, you will then have a local lunch before heading to the airport.
