Day by day

DAY 01:  Pick up and drive to Wilson Airport for a flight to Masai Mara National Park.

After being picked up from the hotel by your driving guide, you will travel to Wilson Airport to begin your picturesque planned flight over the Rift Valley to the stunning Kenyan highlands, arriving in Masai Mara in the evening.

DAY 02: Game drives in Masai Mara National Park

Following an early breakfast, you will go on a morning game drive in the park, eat lunch, and then go on another game drive in the afternoon. After that, you will head back to the lodge for dinner and refreshments to cap off the day.

DAY 03: Morning Game drive and Community Visit (the Masai)

Following an early breakfast, you will go on a morning game drive in the park, eat lunch, and then go on another game drive in the afternoon. After that, you will head back to the lodge for dinner and refreshments to cap off the day.You’ll go on a wildlife drive in the morning and visit the Masai community in the afternoon, where you can purchase souvenirs and engage in fascinating cross-cultural interaction.

DAY 04: Fly from Kichwa-Tembo to Bwindi via Kisumu and Entebbe

Following breakfast, you will travel to the airport to clear customs before your journey to Bwindi via Kisumu and Entebbe.

DAY 05: Gorilla Tracking

You will be driven to the park headquarters for a gorilla tracking briefing following breakfast with your packed lunch. Your age, interest, and level of fitness determine your gorilla family allotment. Before you set out on your forest hike, please attempt to let your guide know what interests you so he may try to find you a group that suits you.

After joining other clients for a briefing at headquarters in the park, proceed to the forest to walk the gorillas. After locating them, you have an hour to take pictures and observe them before heading back to the lodge. Gorilla tracking is an incredible once-in-a-lifetime event, but it can also be a tiresome workout that calls for a certain degree of endurance.

DAY 06: Morning Flight from Kihihi to Entebbe arriving about mid-day. Optional Activities; Uganda Wildlife Educational Center

DAY 07: Ngamba Island and International flight back home to end the 7 Day Fly-in to Masai-mara & Gorilla Trekking Safari

You will take a speed boat to Ngamba Island from the waterfront/UWEC after breakfast. an opportunity to feed the orphaned chimps, followed by lunch on the island and a boat ride back to Entebbe for your flight home in the evening.
