Day By Day
Day 1: Arrive at Entebbe Airport
Our agent will meet you when you arrive at Entebbe Airport. Meet, greet, and make your way to the Protea Hotel Entebbe for the night. As you get ready for an exciting first day of your safari, take advantage of the hotel’s amenities and freshen up.
Day 2: Ngamba Chimpanzee & Uganda Wildlife Education Center Tour
Transfer to the Uganda Wildlife Education Center for an up-close look at the resident animals following a delectable meal. This is an excellent place to start learning about Uganda’s wildlife, its dynamics, and the environments in which it lives.
Take a boat trip to Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary on Lake Victoria, Africa’s largest lake, following the educative tour. You will be taken to the visitor center upon arrival, where you will learn about the history of the Ngamba project, the chimpanzees that live there, and their predicament. From a high platform area along the edge of the sanctuary fence, you may observe the chimps being fed and receive a personal orientation from a chimpanzee caregiver.
Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
One of the planet’s most abundant ecosystems, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park predates the previous ice age. With about 350 bird species and 120 mammal species recorded inside its borders, it also has one of Africa’s highest species richness. Additionally, Bwindi is the only forest on Earth where chimpanzees and mountain gorillas coexist.![]()
Day 4: Gorilla Trekking
Spend an hour with the critically endangered mountain gorillas, one of the world’s best animal experiences, as you trek deep into the steaming Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The ultimate African safari experience is gorilla trekking, which everyone should do at least once in their lifetime.
Meeting these serene big apes in person while they go about their daily lives as though no one is looking is the best way to pique man’s imagination. Park guides are always there to explain the flora and animals as well as the gorillas’ way of existence.
Day 5: Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Begin your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park this morning. You’ll get there in time for the Kazinga Channel boat cruise in the afternoon. Simply said, the boat ride on Kazinga, a waterway that connects Lakes George and Edward, is amazing. The greatest concentration of hippos in the world may be found in the canal, which also serves as their home and playground.
The scene is set for some crazy action when you add a lot of crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and predators to the mix. Along with other bird species, you will also see the magnificent African fish eagle, Goliath herons, saddle-billed storks, Egyptian geese, several egret types, and cormorants. Remember to grab your camera so you can capture the breathtaking sunset over the Mweya Peninsula.
Day 6: Queen Elizabeth to Entebbe to Nairobi
Around 6:30 am this morning, you will set out for an extremely early game drive. After breakfast, you will return to your lodge to check out. Fly to Entebbe for your subsequent journey to Nairobi after transferring to the airport. Our representative will meet you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and take you to Nairobi Safari Club (on a bed and breakfast basis).![]()
Day 7: Nairobi Wildlife Sanctuaries
Following a leisurely breakfast, you will be collected from your lodging and taken on a tour of Nairobi City, which will allow you to take in the city’s splendor. Discover two of the world’s most distinctive animal shelters. First, learn about the orphaned baby elephants and the reintegration process that involves releasing them back into the wild by visiting David Sheldrick’s Elephant Orphanage.
After that, go to the Giraffe Center to meet the endangered Rothschild giraffes up close. Under the guidance of a qualified staff member, ascend the feeding point and present a food pellet to a giraffe. In addition to accepting your offer, (he or she) might even give you a kiss in return!
Day 8: Masai Mara Game Drive
Start your Kenya safari journey to the renowned Masai Mara National Reserve in the morning after being picked up from your hotel in Nairobi. Make a little break to take in the amazing views and optional shopping at the curio stores as you drive through the gorgeous and picturesque Great Rift Valley.
Before continuing on to Masai Mara, enjoy another little stop in Narok Town for refreshments and to use the bathrooms. Before arriving at the resort, do a quick wildlife drive. Make it to the lodge in time for lunch and check-in. Before embarking on an exhilarating first game drive in the magnificent Masai Mara, spend the remainder of your day relaxing and taking use of the lodge’s amenities.
Day 9: Masai Mara Game Drive
Enjoy an early breakfast before leaving the lodge with your lunchboxes packed for a full day of game viewing over the undulating hills and lush grasslands dotted with trees. Our guide will select a picturesque (and secure) location for you to eat lunch while listening to the sounds of animals howling, birds tweeting, and the powerful Mara River providing life to the park as it flows across the savannah.
Return to your lodge after taking in more of the never-ending spectacle. A hot-air balloon tour is available for an additional $410 per person. For $20 per person, you can include an intriguing activity like a Masai village tour (Masai Boma) in your itinerary.
Day 10: Masai Mara to Serengeti via Isebania
After an early breakfast, depart from your accommodation and take a packed picnic lunch box on your final game drive before heading to the Isebania border. After completing the border procedures, our Tanzanian staff will pick you up and take you to your Serengeti resort, where you will also go on a game drive. After arriving at your resort, have dinner and spend the night there.
Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park was created in 1952. The world’s largest animal display, the great migration of zebra and wildebeest, takes place there. There are also astonishing numbers of lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and birds living there.![]()
Day 11: Serengeti Game Drive
Get up early for a memorable game drive at sunrise. As you look for big cats that are hunting for their early food, you can marvel at how the sun ignites the savannah. After breakfast, spend the whole day exploring the Serengeti grasslands in search of various wildlife, including the Big Five.
You may witness some of the most recognizable species in the world as you weave through Kopje, set against the expansive plains and the expansive sky of Tanzania’s crown gem. You will have dinner and spend the night in your Serengeti lodge.
For an additional $20, you can choose to visit a Maasai village. For an additional $599, you can choose to take a hot air balloon tour.
Day 12: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Drive through the stunning high-lying farms of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area after enjoying a leisurely breakfast. Bring a picnic lunch and head down into the crater for a day of exploring the amazing Ngorongoro Crater. After climbing 600 meters in the late afternoon, head to your Ngorongoro lodge for dinner, check-in, and overnight accommodations.
Open grassland makes up the majority of the Ngorongoro caldera’s floor. Elephants, black rhinoceroses, leopards, buffalo, zebras, warthogs, gnu (wildebeests), Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles, and many other animals can be found there. The world’s densest lion population is found in Ngorongoro. The crater is also used by the Maasai tribes of the area to graze their cattle. Large flocks of pink flamingos are known to call Lake Magadi, a shallow soda lake encircled by ancient volcanoes, home.
Day 13: Ngorongoro to Arusha
Check out of the lodge after a leisurely breakfast and take in one last wildlife drive before traveling to Arusha. Once in Arusha, proceed to the JRO airport to depart. Service termination.
