After you have arrived, our driver guide will pick you up from the airport and drop you off in Arusha town, where you will later have supper and spend the night.
DAY 02: Pick up from Arusha and transfer to Tarangire National Park
Your driving guide will pick you up from Arusha and take you to Tarangire National Park for a full day of morning and evening game drives. After checking in at your lodge and getting refreshed, you will head out for a full day of wildlife viewing in Tarangire National Park, which is well-known for its enormous elephant populations—an estimated 2,500—as well as its stunning giant Baobab trees, the Tarangire River, and a variety of bird species.
DAY 03: Tarangire National Park
You will have your first Game Drive adventure at Tarangire National Park following breakfast. With more than 500 different species of birds, the National Park is a birdwatcher’s paradise. Additionally, about 30 huge herbivores call it home! Large grassy plains, savannah, forest, woods, lakes, and marshes make up this intriguing habitat. Every region is home to a variety of animals. Make sure to see the termite mounds scattered around the terrain. The termites abandon them, and the dwarf mongooses occupy them and make them their homes. They serve a picnic lunch.
DAY 04: Tarangire National Park to Lake Manyara National Park.
Following breakfast, you will go to Lake Manyara National Park for a dawn wildlife drive. Despite being the smallest park in Tanzania, Lake Manyara National Park offers a wide range of species for visitors to witness, including guinea fowls, dik-diks, bushbacks, zebras, and wildebeests.
Elephants can be seen drinking and playing in the cool waters as you drive through bush tracks and explore the Lake, which is home to thousands of Flamingos, and the river’s winding paths. You will visit the local town and take an optional short trip down the Great Rift Valley in the late afternoon. During the hike, you will get the opportunity to take in the sounds of the surrounding waterfalls and forest. Before you travel to the lodge for dinner and the night, you will enjoy a picnic lunch and continue your game drive until the sun sets.
DAY 05: Karatu to Central Serengeti National Park
Following breakfast, you will travel northwest to reach Serengeti National Park. Continue to the Serengeti National Park (endless plain) after ascending the rugged, switchback route into the Ngorongoro Highlands. After an afternoon to dusk wildlife drive, head to your overnight camps for food and rest.
DAY 06: Central Serengeti to North Serengeti National Park
On this day, you will explore Serengeti National Park on full-day wildlife drives. This will provide you with the chance to see lions, leopards, and cheetahs. You go on a game drive at 6 a.m. to look for early bird grazers, and then you have a bush breakfast at 8 a.m. After that, you go on another game drive to look for more animals. At noon, you enjoy a picnic and unwind while taking in the stunning Serengeti. Following lunch, you will continue your afternoon wildlife drive along the Mara River before returning to the lodge for supper and the night.
DAY 07: North Serengeti Mara River Area.
Before embarking on a full day of wildlife drives in the Serengeti Park, have an early breakfast. You will attempt to track migratory groups in the Mara River area on this day. Drive back to the lodge in the evening for dinner and the night. Some herds of wildebeests do not cross the river, and you may be able to see them along the Mara River.
DAY 08: North Serengeti Park to Ngorongoro Crater Rim
Following the transfer, there will be wildlife drives in the morning before sunrise before dinner and sleep at the Ngorongoro Crater Rim. For breathtaking views of hippos and other wildlife, you will stop by the Retima Hippo Pool en route. Additionally, you might choose to go through the Olduvai Gorge. Numerous amazing archeological finds have been made in this region. It’s also a lovely place with Tanzanian Acacia trees towering over the countryside and lush, grassy ground. Another choice would be to go to a Masai village and discover their captivating singing and dance as well as their nomadic culture. You should definitely attempt to compete in the high jumps of the Maasai men!
DAY 09: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha for overnight
You will descend more than 600 meters into the crater to observe wildlife after an early breakfast. The Ngorongoro conservation area is home to a wide range of wildlife, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and enormous African elephants. It is also supported by a year-round supply of water and forage. Many people call Ngorongoro Crater the eighth wonder of the world! The crater, which was created by a volcano erupting millions of years ago, is home to more than 25,000 huge creatures.
The enormous, walled crater, which also contains gorgeous lakes, verdant forests, and expansive grasslands, is home to the animals, who coexist peacefully. Owing to its vastness and variety, the crater floor is made up of a number of different regions, including open grassland, some sandy dunes, lakes, springs, swamps, and forests. The nature experience is amazing. One of the crater’s primary features, Lake Magadi, is a sizable but shallow alkaline lake located in the southwest corner. It is normally possible to view a lot of flamingos, hippos, and other water birds here.
