5 Day Uganda Gorillas and Wildlife Via Kigali

Those who want to see wildlife in Queen Elizabeth National Park and mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park should take this 5-day Uganda gorilla and game safari from Kigali. You can go on a gorilla walk, go on wildlife drives in Queen Elizabeth’s Mweya sector, and take a boat tour on the Kazinga channel between Lake Edward and Lake George on this safari. Though we stress that nature rules and everything depends on your luck, you will have the opportunity to see animals such as herds of buffalo, kobs, elephants, lions, and warthogs.

Day by day

DAY 01:  Pick up from the Airport/Hotel and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After being picked up from the hotel in Entebbe by your driver guide, you will begin your picturesque journey to Bwindi. After making a stop at the Genocide Memorial, you will have lunch on the way to Bwindi, where you will spend the night and have dinner.

DAY 02: Gorilla trekking and optional activity around the park

You will drive to park headquarters for a briefing regarding the gorilla hike following an early breakfast. You will begin the trip when your guide has explained the dos and don’ts. The location of the gorillas on that particular day will determine how long the walk takes you. After an hour of viewing and picture ops, you will be required to return to the headquarters to pick up your certificates.

DAY 03: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an evening game drive

Following breakfast, you will travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park’s Mweya sector, where you will go on a quick game drive before checking into the lodge for the night for dinner.

DAY 04: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel

You will go on a game drive in Kasenyi early in the morning to look for early grazers, cat opportunities, and other animals. After lunch at the resort, you will travel to Kazinga Channel for a boat trip where you may see a variety of aquatic species, birds, and more.

DAY 05: Transfer back to Kigali to end the trip

The five-day Uganda Gorilla and Game Safari through Kigali will come to an end when you say goodbye to the lodge after breakfast and some downtime. You will then drive back to Kigali and be dropped off at the hotel or airport.
